Default 8800 GTS 97.92 drivers, TV as second output

Using a GeForce 8800 GTS. Driver version 9792.

I've succeeded in cloning my desktop display onto a TV monitor
connected via S-video.

Have sized and positioned the GUI of the application that I need to
SEE on the TV monitor. The only control I see on the Control Panel
that looks like it might lock the TV's display in place is an "Apply"
button. That absolutely does NOT lock anything in place. Therefore,
moving the mouse continues to push the displayed portion of the
desktop around the screen.

With older cards/older drivers, this was done with a checkbox called
"Disable auto-panning on secondary device (viewport lock)".

I'm quite sure I'm doing the cloning procedure correctly up to this
point. Just can't get how to make the desired appearance on the TV
monitor permanent.

Any advice?
