You can go Fancy and get LaCie hard drive with the rubber coating.
http://www.lacie.com/products/range.htm?id=10036

But a hard drive can take like 500G's nowadays. But they are cute.

But I actually recommend you buy 2 Drives the same size/speed, and brand (if
Possible) as the drives in your Server.
Put them in External Cases.
http://www.supergooddeal.com/category_s/42.htm
and if one fails on the server you can swap one out. at 5:00pm

Practically Zero Downtime.

I use Seagate external drives and find them to be great.
get one with a high spin speed 7,200 rpm.
I use some small 160GB pocket size drives and they backup 70 GBs in a few
hours no problem USB2

I have a Laptop 100GB I carry everywhere (100GB was the largest out when I
bought it.)

I have this case, but black, but I'd probably go clear now.. Just for the
cool factor.
http://www.supergooddeal.com/Cintre_... p/i201-cr.htm

Even though they are nice and portable, I still like the regular drives,
because more storage.
With backing up 60 Gigs I'd probably go with either same size drive as the
server, but if the server drives are small, then go large.

Use Acronis True Image to do the clone. Much faster and you have a
sector-for-sector copy. Just remember to change the signature or
Windows can screw up. I use Win98SE fdisk /mbr because it has a bug
which overwrites the first 4 bytes of the signature with zeros. That
forces Windows to create a new installation which prevents any
conflicts with the original disk signature. If you don't do that you
are in for a world of pain since Windows is trying to detect pirated
clones and botches it with legitimate ones.

Citizen Bob, could you elaborate on what you mean by "changing the
signature" when you use Acronis True Image Server to make full disk images?
thanks.

Please don't top-post. Your answer belongs after, or possibly
intermixed with, the material you quote. After snipping whatever
is not germane to your reply.
