Monitor Prob Fixed but ina Weird wacky way :)
Just took the case off and Shook the case up and down and now the monitor is fine, well it does not go to black and the power does not flicker any more. So i'am not sure its the PSu or not ?? Mabye a loose wire ? Anyway its stable for now, but still getiing the 22 inch Flat sreen i think the repair on this monitor would not be worth it, this monitor can be my backup PC monitor for as long as it lasts. Any idea what this monitor prob could be ? thanks. |

My monitor wont even start when the PC isn't even on so i don;t think its an AGP thing. I just wacked it BIG time and now the screen is yellow but stable Time for a new one. The 9600 Pro was working fine, untilla few weeks ago then the monitor i think just up and died, well nearly their. Thanks. I just wacked it BIG time and now the screen is yellow but stable If the whites are yellow, then it is likely that the blue gun is not firing. Since only 2 of the 3 guns are now working, the PSU has less strain on it than before, which might be why it is currently "working". Time for a new one. Indeed. Looks like more than the PSU is dead/dying now... Ben -- I'm not just a number. To many, I'm known as a String... |
