GeForce4 Ti to HDMI TV
Previously on alt.comp.periphs.videocards.nvidia, Jeffrey Kaplan said:
The screen never came back on after clicking OK to that, and 60 seconds later it still had not reverted. Now I have no display at all on that computer. The TV, when set to that HDMI input says there is no video signal. I'd like to thank those that helped me. Bringing the computer into my workroom, I was able to plug in a monitor and use it. But I was unable to change the TV output settings without the TV being plugged in, so I did what I was thinking of doing anyway, and reinstall XP Pro. And that's when the crap hit the fan. After reloading XP, I have no sound and no network, there are problems with either the drivers or hardware, and Windows is unable to install self-bundled generic drivers for them. Net result: It's probably not broken beyond repair, but it is broken beyond the amount of effort I'm willing to put into it. -- Jeffrey Kaplan www.gordol.org The from userid is killfiled Send personal mail to gordol "Londo, are you deliberately trying to drive me insane?"
