silly question - how good is Athlon64 overclocking ??

It seems to be common to get the 2.0ghz chips like 3200+ to 2.2ghz.
Presumably the rating then would be 3400+ or maybe 3500+. BTW, it appears the Athlon64 ratings are more accurate than the Barton PR ratings when compared to the newer P4s, so this is doubly good. rms |

how good is Athlon64 overclocking ?? It's hard to tell at the moment, but remember that 100Mhz on the A64 is like 200MHz on a P4, so it won't take as much actual MHz speed to increase performance. And don't forget that the A64 has a locked multiplier, so the FSB is the only way to overclock it.
