PCChipds M863G PCI Drivers?
I have had to re-build my disk for the PCChips M863G motherboard.
I have loaded the software from the motherboard CD(V 8.15C) but I am still missing the PCI drivers. How do these get loaded? I cannot do the modem until I get the PCI Bridge is working. Any know the answer to this? I have looked on the PCChips site with no luck. Thanks in anticipation. Brian |

Brian This is an earlier version of the motherboard. Should be OK for drivers, just don't try the BIOS flash. http://www.pcchips.com.tw/PCCWeb/Downloads/ProductsDetail_Download.aspx?detailid=265&DetailNa me=Driver&DetailDesc=M863G(V1.5A)&MenuID=43&LanID= 2 Another cheat you can try is to run Windows Updates to find the drivers. THe odds are 50/50 that you'll find the right one. PS: PCtel modems often IDentify themselves as "PCI device" so just try to install the modem. Chances are good the yellow ? will dissappear. |
