Default 2600+(is this a barton)

Hi,

Sorry I am a new comer.

I ve bought an 2600+ AMD w/512 L2 Cache.(this should be 333?, and so to be
called as a Barton??)
Any ideas for the "ideal" multiplier and FSb? (Mainboard is A7N8X-DELUXE)

Three different 2600+ were produced:

16x133==2133mhz - 256k cache
12.5x166=2083mhz - 256k cache
11.5x166=1917mhz - 512k cache

Yours is a Barton.

oh, ya fsb is 133 or 166 (266 or 333 in Intel marketing speak)

You should be about to set the vcore to 1.75-1.85v and your fsb to 200
(400mhz intel-speak) and run that puppy at 2300mhz if you got a good chip.
