Default Presario 5838 Memory Configuration

Time to dust off older desktop.

Came with 128mb - with 2 open slots - want to increase

Some sites say Max 384mb

Can I add 256mb or 512mb sticks or would the world come
to a skidding halt?

Inquiring minds want to know....

384MB, according to Crucial. Max 128MB per slot. Try he
