Default Can I replace this core duo with a core solo?

I have a cpu in a laptop and the fan is going loud a bit too often for my liking.
It easily gets up to 57 idling and I think soon after the fan goes up. I don't
mind losing some speed for a quieter laptop.

The processor, according to cpuz, is
Intel Core Duo
Yonah
Socket 479 mPGA
65nm
U2500
1.2GHz

I see the U1300-U1500 have a TDP of 5.5W. Less power than the TDP rating I
see on wikipedia for the U2500, and I have a U2500.

Would any Core Solo U1300-U1500 CPU if it is PGA, be able to replace my Core
Duo processor?

Thanks
