Default Memory chip type question.

Newbie so be gentle please.

Hi,

I had a look at a memory manufacturers online configurator where I find what
mobo I have and it tells me what memory they do that is compatible. It says
my board will take PC4000 or PC3200. Which is better and why?

Thanks indeed.
Andy.
