Default Compaq customer service and support = excellent experience

Hi all,

Recently I posted a question about upgrading the cpu in my presario notebook
and noted that I was not pleased with Compaq's support on this issue. Well,
I e-mailed them directly and am just writing to say how impressed I am with
the speed of their response and the clarity of the information that they
gave me!

I am very, very impressed.

Mike

Humm... I suppose you had better frame that. Maybe it is because of the
economy and the word getting around about how utterly sorry computer
companies are with what they call 'service' and 'support'. It is utterly
amazing how slow or no sales improves hearing ability. If consumers would
stick together, perhaps more of them might immediately receive improved
hearing and lack of lead in the shoes. Good for you. I fear though that
your experience is the exception rather than the rule, unfortunately. ;(

Helen
