Default IP camera and software suggestions

Looking for suggestions on a reasonable priced IP camera ($150-$200) and
software that detects motion and records. Nothing fancy, no tilt, pan etc.
Just 3 or 4 cameras around the house.
(I've had it with UPS backing into my cars! Twice now- but of course I can't
prove it--yet.)

I've tried a camera from iGuard, the IP-230. Camera works OK for indoor, but
it will not cut the light down enough for outdoor. Sun soaked areas are
washed out.
Ok for indoor and dark areas.
And the software that came with it triggers and records every couple of
minutes, no matter how high I have the motion sensitivity set.

Any suggestions?

T.O.
