Well The moral of the story is not to buy from ebuyer anymore. Anyone
recommend a reliable and cheap hardware supplier? (not SCAN!) |

The second order card has arrived and is working just fine and to compensate for the first order, they've given me a five pound credit off next purchase. Looks like its all sorted in the end - frustrating but sorted. g. They concluded the errors on my order by refunding to my card instead of sending the correct item and when I pointed this out to them I received an email more or less amounting to tough we don't care. They used to be the best value on the net, they are now terrible. It's great getting well priced items but in my case waiting three weeks, dealing with the hassels of their non existant communications system it really is no longer worth it. Give them a miss if you value your sanity |

Give them a miss if you value your sanity I wish I had. I placed an order with them for next day delivery over two weeks ago. Most of the order took 4 days to arrive and the most expensive item (a CF GPS card) was missing; they'd sent a CF card modem instead. My RMA request has been sitting at "Management Referral" for 11 days and eNote enquiries are ignored. Fortunately the order was over £100 and I paid by credit card to I'm passing the problem over to my credit card company. I'll also contact trading standards. I'll never deal with this bunch of cowboys again though. |

Don't get gear from them anymore. Agreed. Ended up with a duplicate order due to the cart crashing. Charged twice (£450 x 2), took them five days to respond to my "please cancel the duplicate order" e-note by which time the kit had arrived. Now 7 days and counting for an RMA number. And my credit card co don't want to know so they're about to get the tablet. I guess I've just been lucky, never had a problem with Ebuyer, now OcUK don't get me started .... BillL |
