Default rack mounting PC's

These days, more and more computers enter my den.
Lots of power supplies, lots of PC cases...
I got the idea of taking all the motherboards out of the cabinets and
mounting them in a rack. A few fans maybe here and there, combining
power supplies...

Where should I look for solutions for this idea ?
19 inch rack stuff ?

What are you looking for exactly?
IF you want a regular rack mount setup, that is easily done.
Dunno about consolidating the PSU's though, if your one PSU died, all
PC's would too, it would be better to have redunant PSU's IMO.

Google for rack mount cabinets, cases, etc.
Don't be surprised when you see the cost of some of this stuff.

I'm not sure about "exactly" yet... just getting my bearings :-)
Yes I saw some prices for new stuff.... but also of 2nd hand stuff :-)
we have a site like ebay here in Holland where you can auction surplus
stuff, like houses and boats and SCSI cards and bikes, anything.
I could pick up a cabinet for say 100 euro, $100..

good idea about the PSU.

thank you for your reply. Most kind.

Erik
