I am not opposed to any propoganda against Microsoft. For the most
part, from a stability standpoint, I think Vista is getting a bum
wrap. It is more prime time than I would have expected any major
upgrade from MS to be.

Where I am incensed, however, is that I don't think Vista, IMO,
qualifies as anything close to a "major upgrade" in functionality. The
3D window switching is what a cheap utility could provide. Transparent
windows are inane, a waste of resources, and wasted effort that could
have been put elsewhere.

This month when Apple's Leopard comes out I am going to get a look at
an OS that is efficient and packs in features of true value.

So, I am all for any mis-information that makes Vista seem worse than
it really is. Go for it ! :-)

Also, it helps Apple's stock. Apple's Leopard is going to be a
rock-solid stable OS that packs in many new features. The stage is
set for some positive publicity towards Apple's new OS at the expense
of MS's Vista.

Maybe Steve Jobs commissioned the video to swiftboat Vista? Might as well
concoct a conspiracy theory here. The video sure is polished and professionally

I doubt Steve Jobs commissioned it. The digital tools today unleash a
lot of creativity. Also, until recently, Apple was clueless about how
to market the Mac. In 1984 they could have been doing side-by-side
comparisons of the Mac vs. PC but instead they did the 1984 commercial
which a lot of people raved about that probably didn't help Mac sales
much.

I do hope that Vista's reputation is hurt when Leopard comes out but
I'm not holding my breath.
