Are the control codes of the Canon BJC-4300
backward-compatible to the BJ-10e? Is there any
problem about a driver for the 4300 under DR-DOS?

Hi again, folks!

I need to know: (1) If the control codes for the Canon BJC-4300 are
backward-compatible with those for the old BJ-10 -- more specifically,
if this printer handles its own codes for italic, bold, etc., and if it
incorporates the old IBM Code Pages 437 or 850; (2) if there are
drivers that work under DR-DOS (similar to Microsoft DOS 6.0, before
they started downgrading DOS).
