Default Adding Serial ATA to 4-drive system?

My system is currently configured for 3 hard drives and a CD-RW. Can
I add a Serial ATA drive and still keep all 4 other devices connected?

Yes. If you want to boot from the SATA drive you will need to add the SATA
drivers Otherwise, just connect the power and signal cables, which may
require a $3 adapter.

Yes, you can add a PCI card that will take
SATA drives if you have a free PCI slot.
