Default 200Mhz FSB barrier Broken...FINALLY

Well since late jan Ive been trying to get my 2100+ to run over 200Mhz FSB.
I was using a rev 1.04 A7N8X and couldnt get the ******* over 12.5x180.
Right now sitting at 11x210 on a rev 2.0 A7N8X board.
I got same board but newer rev because I really didnt feel like totally
re-installing windows XP.
My cpu Mhz went from 2255 to 2310.
I will try higher multipliers later with perhaps a lower bus (none less then
200) to see if I can achieve the 2400Mhz mark on air.....Volcano 9+ speed
set to max rpm (yes loud).
All parts are same excpet the motherboar rev.

Ever post anything useful?

I believe his post was on-topic and relevant, it's not like you contribute
greatly to the group, is it?

The later chipset is better. My Soltek FRN-L topped out at 204 fsb, then
with the same components my replacement FRN2-L runs 220 fsb stable, amybe
higher if i push it.

I was stuck at 178 untill I just sat here and kept trying it was not untill I updated the
bios that I got mine to run 202 fsb 11mult. It will go higher but it works fine for me

well lets see in a Overclocking NewsGroup it is importent to let others know
how I got the 200Mhz fsb.
for me it took a board swap.
for others extreme cooling.
