Default stuck in sleep mode

I have a deskpro EN in which I recently replace the hard drive.
Afterwards it would not boot at all. No errors, nothing.
So I rest the CMOS using the jumper.
Now it boots fine; it will go into F10 setup, or start to run Windows setup
from the CD.
But it automatically goes into "Sleep" or "Hibernate" mode, approximately
15~20 seconds after power up!
Then it will not wake up.
This isn't even enough time to reset the BIOS.

Any ideas/ suggestions welcome
