Default Questions about Stereo Drivers

On one web site it said the Nvidia drivers support "page-flipping & anaglyph
(red/blue)".

1. Does this mean it can't do interlace or line-blanking?
2. It also said "full-res" but does that mean full-screen? Full-screen page
flipping? (Cool!).
3. Does it really work on all DirectX and OpenGL? Or are there many problems?
(besides the crosshair problem because they usually arn't drawn in 3D).
4. It also said "OSD not (yet) implemented". What is an OSD?

Thanks for any info...........Sam

OSD=On Screen Display, sometimes called a HUD (head's up display with all
your stats)

The last Stereo drivers to come out for stereo display are the 30.87's. You
can use later detonator drivers than the 30.87's with the 30.87 stereo
drivers, but it doesn't always work right as it did with the 30.87's. The
page flipping is cool, but on anything less that a 100hz refresh, the
flickering can cause headaches. (cut the refresh rate in half to get the
stereo refresh rate.) If you run less than 120hz, room lighting can
interfere. To get interlace you have to run a special program that used to
be available on the wicked3d site.

It doesn't work for all games. There is a list of them it works for, and the
list they work good for is even smaller.

It's a cool toy, but no one really supports it anymore. I still have the
dongle hooked up and the IR feed sitting on top of my monitor, but I haven't
used it since around xmas around 19 months ago.
