I need to know how i can deactivate the light of the scanner (epson gt7000)
....I have a diapo module of HP with another connector and i would like to
scan negative without to buy his original module (150 ?)

You can not, without tearing into the innards of the scanner and
disconnecting the light.

However there are methods that people have successfully scanned Slides with
non Slide equipped scanners. (Before they got so cheap).

Color Negatives are almost impossible to scan successfully without having a
scanner that is equipped with the proper adapter and software.

You have to deal with the orange background that negative color film has.

B&W film is not so much of a problem, you can just invert the image in a
photo editor.
