Default Broken Compaq UPS T1500h

Hi,

I have a broken Compaq T1500h UPS. It broke when I removed main power
without unplugging the connected devices first (I wanted to test the
battery).

So, my question is: Which component has the highest probability of
breaking first, in a situation like the above? I guess it isn't the
battery, because the manual talks about hot-swapping it so the UPS
should work without it... or?

Any ideas?

Best regards,
Per Jönsson
