Default 3dMark 03 score

Hi,

I get a score of 1658 with 3d Mark 03.

My configuration is as follows:

Althon 2000xp
256 mb ddr 2100
256 mb ddr 2700
geforce ti4600 128 (4xAGP)

is this about right?

does it seem a little to slow to anyone?

Seems ok, remember the Geforce 4 Ti cards arent direct x 9 compliant in
hardware, so on a DX9 benchmark like 3dmark03, that hurts you.

I'm using an overclocked 1900XP (192 fsb x 9) and a 4200(325/650), and
I get close to 2000 with drivers 44.03's. If your not overclocking then I think
your score is fine. The 192 fsb helps raise the score a bit from the increase
in memory speed, compared to the memory your using.

I have a athlonXp2000 with 512mb ddr ram and a geforce4 ti4200 64mb 4xagp
card.
I have o/c the cpu and video card slightly and on 3dmark03 i get about
1450-1490 score.
Yours sounds about right.

Hmm... do you judge your rig on some 'for industry bragging rights' test? Or
are you a 'fanboy'? If your gonna test with a G4 at least use 3dmark2001...
dont go by benchmarks, play CS and start throwing smoke if your fps drops
your rig sux, if it dosent great, lag everyone else, kill them, and when
they start bitching at you, tell them to get a job and buy a better rig.
Those that dont bitch are hacking and cant see the smoke anywayz :P course
you gotta turn off your smoke hack first thou for this test.

Yeah, throwing smoke grenades to see if your rig slows down. Real
professional benchmark there. At least give some numbers to compare with.
Even if the test is skewed, if everyone is using it, then it's irellevant.
