which cable modem?
I am wanting to buy my own cable modem. I am trying to decide between
Motorola SB5100 or the Toshiba PCX2200. Any in put would be greatly appreciated. I am kind of leaning toward the Toshiba 2200 but have heard good reviews on both. thanks in advance, Laffctx

they use both............but I guess a cable modem is a cable modem pretty

Many ISPs will only support certain makes and models so if they support
those two then you will be OK. I have the Toshiba 2500, provided by Road Runner, and never been a problem.

Comcast views the Motorola as one of the best available.
