Default athlon 64 overclock

I am trying to overclock my athlon 64 as it seems a bit slow.

Antec TruePower 480 12V AC 480W ATX

MSI K8T Neo-FIS2R SKT 754 K8T800 8x AGP GB LAN 1394,S-ATA RAID 6CH
Sound

AMD Athlon 64 Bit 3200/1 Mb L2 cache 754Pin CPU OEM

Thermaltake A1744 Venus 12 Heatsink & Fan Supports AMD Opteron & 64Bit
CPU's

Corsair (CMX512-4000) THE XMS EXTREME SERIES - 512MB - DDR500 -
PC4000 - 184Pinn - Unbuffered - BLACK Memory Module

2 x Western Digital Caviar SE 80gb SATA150 7200rpm 8mb

MSI Mx4000-T128 AGP 128MB DDR TV-Out Retail Box

using core center I have got it to run at 219mhz, I am surprised it will not
run any higher.

It makes me wonder if the power supply needs replacing with something with a
bit more go.

VCore I assume means the power supplied to the processor which currently is
1.5v

Any thoughts anyone?????

Your problem might be because the PCI buss is getting overclocked and causing
your problem. without a PCI and AGP lock you are very limited on your FSB
settings. DOUG

Yup, I'm in the same boat. Stuck at 220. Kind wish I would have got the
nVidia chipset instead.

Not to worry, the new Nforce 3-250 is now out and it has locks for the PCI and
AGP. Gigabyte will have their 754 socket board available very soon, that
would be my first choice. DOUG
