Plastic disk storage
Has anyone read the article on the new hard disk storage media being tested,
plastic. Like the old punch cards, data is stored on plastic disks by making indentions and then erased by heating plastic up to remove the indention. The storage per inch is 5 times that of magnetic hard disks. |
