Yamaha CR2100S SCSI - PROBLEM

Hi,

I have been using this drive for almost two years without problems, now, all
of a sudden it will not accept some disks - it takes forever to get passed
the ornange flashing light then it stays orange and says its not blank !!! -
I have upgraded the firmware, tried allsorts, its not settings cos I have
not changed anything since it worked last time - Has anyone any thoughts
????

Even when I put a good branded disk in the drive - it takes a while to
accept it !!!

Anyone help ???

It sounds as though you've picked up some serious dust/dirt/debris in
the optics. If so, cleaning should solve your problem.
