Default CDROM jumpers

I have an old Samsung SC 148F CDROM drive, which may need to be
re-jumpered as I'm adding an ATA drive to the cable. There are 3 pairs
of pins on the back of the device. The trouble is that there are no
markings on the CDROM drive to tell me which are the master jumper,
slave or CS pair of pins.

Does anybody actually know how to identify which pair equate to the
above positions..
