Default Is it possible to have ATI MMC's TV to encode in DivX 5.x format?

I notice AVI is supported, but I cannot pick DivX codec. Is this
program not supporting it or do I have it misconfigured? Also, in AVI
recording settings, I cannot tell it to pick record with captions or
not. I want to be able to watch my video files on other machines
without VCR file format support.

Thank you in advance.

Ah, another player and recorder. I would check it out, but it
is not free (15 days only). Thanks though.
