Default Scanning non 35mm negs on an Epson 1250 photo

Does anyone know how to do this?

If I set the document source to TPU (to turn the light box on) I can
only get the scanner to scan (or pre-scan) a 35mm sized area defined
by the TPU apperture. There must be a way to scan bigger negs, but I
can't figure it out.

Would really appreciate any help.

Thanks.....Nick Granger

The Perfection 1250 only scans 35mm film. This limitation is due to
the size of the light source. t is not possible to scan anything
larger.
If you go to:
Configuration/Preview and remove the tick from Automatic thumbnail
preview the scanner will scan the whole of the aera under the light
source and not auto locate the edges of the film. However you may find
that there is a fall-off in the uniformity of the light source towards
the edges.
Again this scanner is only designed to scan 35mm film.
