Default Formatting Problems

Im trying to install windows 2003 server on one of my computers and the problem i am having is that when its done formatting and it starts to install the windows components it freezes the install exactly at 34 mins. Ive tryed this several times but i keep getting the same problem. Anyone occur this problem before by any chance? Im thinking the hd is going bad but it also could be from the computer cause i think i had this problem before when formatting on this comp
