moving media with nsrjb from slot to slot
Hi,
I am using legator networker ( version 7.1 ) on sun solaris 9 with 2 30slot jukeboxes. I need to sort the tapes in the jukebox to handle the in/exporting of tapes a little bit faster. Does anybody know, if it is possible to move a media from one slot into another ( emtpy ) one, e.g. from slot 1 to slot 15? mtx which is used on linux systems to manage libraries are able to do this. With solaris mtx needs the sgen kernel module, does this conflict with the kernel modules from legato? Any hints, tricks, pointers, etc. are welcome. Regards, Konrad |

You can run "rem_drv lus", then "add_drv sgen" before using mtx. And vice versa (after you are done with mtx). It works for me... Regards, Konrad |
