HP PSC 1510 - Can't Stop The Test Page From Printing
Everytime I power on the printer, it shoots out a test page, wasting
valuable ink (and paper). I looked through all the printer properties and preferences and couldn't find anything on this, I also searched around HP's support pages and couldn't find anything. Surely there's a way to disable this feature? I'm running XP.. Thanks, STRATEGY |

Surely there's a way to disable this feature? The way to disable the feature is to let it complete. The page printing is the alignment page which prints when a new cartridge is installed. Once the page prints you need to load it in the scanner and press the scan button. This will complete the alignment and the page will not print again until a cartridge is replaced. See http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/g...reg_R1002_USEN - you can skip to step #3 in the description. Regards, Bob Headrick, MS MVP Printing/Imaging |

Regards, Bob Headrick, MS MVP Printing/Imaging Thanks, I looks like I had never properly completed the alignment and that was the printer's way of prompting me. However I've now completed the process (three times) and it STILL spits out a test page every time I power up. Any other ideas? STRATEGY |
