Default Dead Clariion SPSes ?

I have a pair of the single-RJ12 jack Clariion DPER/DAER SPS battery backup
units, but neither of them will turn on. It sounds like a hardware issue,
but out of a stack of around 12 of them, none would turn on, or show any
sign of life. I've taken one of them apart and tried disconnecting the
batteries, magnetically actuating the relays, and nothing results. zero
voltage going to the battery wires, no sign of life in the 4 LED's on the
front panel. Anyone have any ideas on this one? Any help is greatly
appreciated,

Kaoru9124
