Default Hard Drive Capacity

My quandry is that I like a faster drive, thinking Hitachi as they seem tp
perform everything except the Raptor. New drives coming on line as fast too.
But storage is an issue.

1) Use a Raptor for Winxp and some games and apps (36g Raptor)

2) Store files and stuff on Internal 160g HD (Hitachi)

3) Use the 160 Hitachi for the main drive and use an external HD for safe
storage??

Wadda Think Folks?? Will XP and a few games fit on the 36g Raptor and sote
and install proggies on the other drive?

Also look in to the new drives sporting 16meg caches. There are some 200-300gig
drives that will perform about as good as, if not better, than the raptor for
about the same price, but with higher capacity.

Article is a few months old but still relevent, the drives mentioned are finaly
on sale. The Maxtor inparticular seems to in general work the Raptor.
