PC3200 (DDR400) on (DDR333) mobo???
Can I put PC3200 (DDR400) memory on a board that supports only PC2700
(DDR333) memory?? The maximum FSB supported is 333mhz. ASUS a7v8x-mx is the board.

Yes, you may be able to tighten the timings from, say, 2.5,3,3,8 to 2.0,3,3,7 or even better with extra voltage to the RAM. Experiment! Dave
