Default fresh download with virus support for downloding the files

Fresh Download is an easy-to-use and very fast download manager that
turbo charges downloading files from the Internet, such as your
favorite freeware and shareware, mp3 files, movie files, picture
collections, etc. Unlike any other similar utilities, this software is
100% free, no charges, no banners (which steal your bandwidth), no
spyware inside it.

Maybe, but with ''virus support''? I would rather have ''anti-virus''.
Better stay away from this product, folks...

Hello, Arno:

I used "Fresh Download" for few months, and liked some of its handy
features: e.g., it allows one to stop a download and then start it
again, at a later time or date, picking up right were it had left
off, before.

Unfortunately, it eventually caused Internet Explorer to slow to a
crawl, so I uninstalled it. (Fresh Download, that is; not IE. g)

Cordially,

Ah, ok. I trust you much more than the OP. But since I use Opera
as Web-Broswes, I hardly need this tool. Opera does (in my experience)
support this as well, if the server does. (Not all support FTP resume).
