Default HELP - system problem

Please Help.

I've installed the Win2000Prfessional. However, system always display error
link "svchost.exe has problem, will be closed by Windows. You need to
restart the program...." After that, all hyperlink on IE cannot be
function. I've tried to re-install the WIN again many times and has tried
to install the IE6 but all failed. Also, after that, system will show "not
enough memory" upon I tried to write new e-mail at Outlook Express.
Please help.

I seem to remember getting the exact same problem once. It was W2K too -
turns out it was not necessarily 'bad' memory, just two different brands of
256 DDR that didn't get on well. I changed the RAM to two sticks o' the same
brand and bob was my auntie. I did have to re-install W2K though, which had
no effect with the 'bad' RAM, but with the replaced RAM...it was fine. Have
you just added new RAM?
