Can I make a restore disk of win98se computer ? I have it on a older
computer that I want to "mess with" I want a easy way to reinstall the
software if need be. I have all the original disks, but a restore disk
would be easier. I have tried ghost with no luck, could I have done
somethink wrong? Thanks

You can do at least two things that I am familiar with. First you
could take a hard drive large enough to hold the data you have on the
original HD and copy that data to the second HD with XXCOPY using the
clone switch. You can search the web for a free download of that program.

Secondly, you could use an Image creating program like IFD (Image for
DOS) to make an image on a CD if you have a burner. I have not used IFD
to do this task, but I believe it will do it. There are plenty of other
programs as well that can do it.

I personally like the XXCOPY method because you have an instant
replacement HD as well as a means of restoring the original HD should
you need.
