While I cannot compare,as I don't have the LG, I can say that my Lite-On
451S is completely trouble-free and burns 4x + and - media at 4x with no
difficulties. I've used Memorex, Optorite, Accu and Fuji so far (whatever
was on sale). I also like the 40x CDR write capability.



Just curious, do you know if the CD reading/burning function has the
same capabilities as their CD burners?
