I have found this problem posted several places in the grops, but as yet,
no solution:

My laptop DVD-drive, a Toshiba SD-C2502, has suddenly stopped reading CD-Rs
& CD-RWs. Widows XP gives an error message to the effect that the disk is
corrupted, or is incompatible with this version. I can still read DVDs and
audio CDs.
Any solutions greatfully acccepted.
