Has anyone tried installing a non-Compaq DVD drive in a Compaq
laptop? I talked to Toshiba and they said that their newer drives
should be interface-compatible with the SD-C2202 in my Presario
1675 laptop, but that Compaq may have changed the device ID info
inside the drive.
