Does anyone know if there exists an external battery charger available
for a Compaq Presario 2100 laptop?

My laptop has a loose connection when the A/C charger is plugged in;
this was fixed by Compaq less than a month ago and it has broken again
-- is this a common problem or a design defect? In any event, I do
not want to send it back again since I need the computer for a trip so
I would prefer temporarily at least to charge the battery externally
if that is possible.
