Default GPS (Vehicular) update

Garmin 010-01532-0F
Black Drive 5" USA EX GPS Navigator,

A base angle on their now most basic "Drive 50" model, IOW, scaled
down and reduced from $150+ (or even more or on same but larger screen
models). The numbers mean no hand holding, cuddling, customer support
lines, or map updates. WYSIWYG.

I swung it on $55 deal, factory new, for its unpopularity. It's
Garmin's new engineering design implementation.

The documentation is sort of an edited programmers take, possibly
directly Chinglish after-marketing, a cleaned up PDF, a bit, for North
American marketing. Guy working for Garmin in public promotions is
either also clueless or inured, all the way down to a stump, from
negative public reations. No pragmatic examples and no illustrations
included.

Intrinsically a modulated abridgement of individual stages and levels,
regarding computer chip features to Garmin's redesign concept.

One hell of a lot more features than an older GPS. I like it. Once
I'd got it to do what I'm used to seeing ( i) map interface, (ii) an
odometer feature, which it has two, to track such as mileage between
gas stops, (iii) next up and coming turn indication for a blow-up in
trip mode.

It's commercial grade, those added features: Lots and lots of ways to
drive, all day long, to sundry points and people's doorstep,
efficiently collated together with least delay.

In case your 20-year-old GPS, you've resoldered in batteries, dumps on
you. Like mine did. Nobody, people buying it, don't know what the
hell's up, or how to get around in its menued interfaces. That makes
it a steal for around $50. Provided it lasts anywhere near what my
older mines did (and still do -- I've a couple older Garmin: one
recently started periodically to lose screen tactility).

Oh, yeah - cute as a carlot full of high-end, breakaway hood
ornamentations: The whole of the documentation is also included,
assessable for reading from the unit's ROM.
