You won't be able to overclock an old Compaq machine, or any machine from
a major manufacturer, the BIOS won't support it. If you want to overclock
then you will need to buy a motherboard that has overclocking support.

As for your current box, don't put a penny into it. Anything reasonably
modern will be faster than that.
