If the mobos have support for ps2, ie pin header on mobo, then buy a ps2
connector,usually fitted to a backplate, and plug it into header on mobo.
I have fitted them to a number of older AT boards so that they can use ps2

Excellent suggestion! I hadn't thought about that option. I just
checked my mobo manual and there is a PS/2 connector on the mobo. Since
my mouse is starting to show signs of needing to be replaced anyway, I
might as well go that route.
