Why not just image the drive with Drive Image or Ghost? Keep the image on
another HD or disc and you can selectively restore one file or the whole
drive.

I believe I have seen 2 or 3 free programs mentioned there, in the past,
that may do what you want. Unfortunately I don't remember the program names
or have the links either. Someone in that group may be able to help.

I am using Nero 5.5.10.15 with Windows 98SE and asking about burning files
from my slave drive which is 17GB, divided into 9 partitions.

Right now I am saving files manually using Nero and it is getting time
consuming.

I am looking for a way to automatically save all the files from all
partitions
-- like the Nero backup program, where you just switch CDR's at the prompt.
However the Nero backup procedure does not allow you to go in and pull out
individual files. You have to restore the entire disk.

The resulting CDRs would look something like this:

CDR-1
d:\folder1 (all files)
d:\folder2 (all files)
d:\folder3 (files 1-2341)

CDR-2
d:\folder3 (files 2342-7897)
d:\folder4 (all files)
e:\folder1 (files 1-3234)

CDR-3
e:\folder2 (files 3235-7890)
e:\folder3 (all files)
etc.
