I also cannot reproduce the SetEOF bug from Linux.
I booted from the Kanotix 2005-3 live Linux CD (based on Debian,
kanotix.com), and configured SAMBA from the Kanotix menu. I was able
to access the NAS drive. I used KWrite to edit my test file and did
not see the SetEOF bug.

Could someone please post specifics about the SAMBA problems that have
been mentioned? I have only done a quick check so far, but I was able
to access the device, and read and write without difficulty.
