I royally misunderstood your question. Thought the .iso was already
bootable. If the .iso is that of Windows program, you don't want to make
it bootable because 'bootable' runs in DOS. What kind of program is in
the .iso? Perhaps you are thinking of Auto Run?

There is no difference. Both cd and dvd follow the same El Torito
bootable format specification.

Just burn the bootable .iso to DVD with Nero: [Recorder, Burn Image].

could have found "error rates". First, there was NO error rate
measuring software supporting Plextors. Second, even if there was
such a software, it could not have found error rates -- because
the above Plextors do NOT report C1 errors.
