Default Soundbars now ofered with internet?

Since the firmware file for the thing is 180MB, it must
be running a full OS of some sort in there (a minimal
Linux). Page 30 of the manual, shows a picture of
the user, using their SmartPhone to channel something
to the soundbar. So that it's not limited to just the
HDMI input perhaps (audio over HDMI).

The documentation is pretty thin.

Once "an App drives it", these companies seem to be
absolved from providing any further description.
Like the product you're buying is a "loot box".
